clogging thin CA glue applicator

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to stop the super-thin CA from hardening in the thin-spouted applicator that fits over the top of the bottle? I just jammed three of these things in one night and it's going to start costing me a small fortune if I have to start spending $2.50 every two days. Doesn't sound like much but that's an average of $450 dollars a year. (I'm a geek, forgive me.)

Don't use the tip that comes with the bottle. First, make a holster for the CA bottle. Cut a hole in a piece of foam for the bottle to fit in, so it is nearly impossible to tip over. Then take the cap off, and apply CA with a microbrush or a tiny fork applicator, (sewing needle with the end of the loop cut off, stuck in an old pink eraser).

You just have to make sure that glue is not left in the tip after each use. After applying, set bottle right side up and squeeze some air through it, clearing the nozzle. You can even wipe it with a paper towel every once in a while. Using this method keeps me from having to buy nozzles all the time. The ones I do get, from the local railroad shop, have about two inches of tubing on them. When they do clog, I just snip off the clog with cutters.

Squeeze some air out of the bottle before you start your application.

After applying the glue to your part set the bottle back down,
The bottle will suck the glue, and then air back in clearing the tip.

When storing for the eveing, use some tissue to wick any glue
off of the tip, and squeeze the bottle a couple times to make sure it is
clear of any drops. Then place a small piece of masking tape over the tip.
