This AT-AT, (link below), is the first model I've ever tried to weather.
I figured for ten bucks it would be a good test subject. It's the F-toys AT-AT.

I did this with just drybrushing neutral gray and sand gray.
My basic question is, will my approach to this work the same with an acrylic wash? That's what I want to try next.
The drybrushing achieved a cool effect but perhaps a wash could take this to another level.

Especially when the base coats replicate a complex camouflage scheme, many modelers will paint the main scheme with enamels and weather with acrylics. (The opposite choice is also popular, as that I know the AFV modelers love weathering with Turpenoid & oil based paints.)
