I posted about 200 photos of the contest entries here: https://postimg.cc/gallery/TYMnKkb
More of the vehicles than figures, apologies if I missed yours. I wish the contest room was open later than 5PM. Also, it will be apparent that I am not a great photographer.

I posted 2021's entries back then in this gallery: https://postimg.cc/gallery/hqSKBwn

Thank you! A lot of talent on those tables.

A TON of talent.

Some I really liked, in no particular order:

The Star Wars railroad layout theme park (what Galaxy's Edge should be)
The ship in a shadow box frame in the corner with a neat rail mounted cargo handler - the shadow box was a great idea; my photos miss the superb interior bay details
Large Excalibur and Picard S3 Titan/Enterprise
The fantasy "mobile home on their back" dinosaurs (are those from a book or franchise?)
Shuttle Galileo TV filming set diorama; ditto the Star Wars Falcon/title crawl filming set
Illuminated Godzilla charging his atomic breath
Jews In Space Star of David battleship
Enormous Star Destroyer
Darth Vader vs. Alien mother
Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade tank chase
Rotating the Space 2001 Orion shuttle/station bay is a simple but very effective idea (has anybody done a similar Interstellar docking diorama?)
The Thing jar diorama
Burger Chef

Thanks.
This is great for those of us who can't make it down there.

I noticed the motion blur on the periphery of the Station for the Orion photo. Neat idea to display it like that. Anything else with moving parts?**

**I've noticed a trend now to try movement as well as lighting

Thanks steelrose,

Thanks for taking the photos and posting them.

The dinos with mobile homes on their backs are from James Gurney's excellent Dinotopia books. The Dinotopia TV series isn't very good, but the books by Gurney are excellent.

Gurney blogs here:

The spaceship in the shadowbox is probably the best model I've ever seen in my life. Does anyone know who made it? I thought BP Taylor made it. I even told another Wonderfester that BP built it. Then I congratulated BP on the model, he said he talked to the builder who spent eight years on it.

P1010092 with that NASA liveried P-51 turboprop conversion tucked in lower left corner is a point of interest.

Don't know if the real deal was actually used by NASA but here is this, https://www.aerialvisuals.ca/AirframeDo ... rial=78138
By 29 March 1968
Converted to a Turbo Mustang III by Cavalier.
Rebuilt by Cavalier.68 with RR Dart 501 turboprop as prototype Turbo Mustang III.

hmm...neat look, but I can't find a picture of it anywhere and with a tail number of 921 it should be N921NA which is a Northrop T-38 Talon. Neat idea though.

Terry Miesele did that. It was on Modeling Madness about a week before WF, and I was looking forward to seeing it. It's a beautiful clean model, and yes it's a whiffer.

Thanks for the builder info. Had come to conclusion that it could well be a what if but I hadn't gone 100% there because of not knowing what info might be out there that I didn't know and wasn't finding.
It absolutely was the "Good looking-ness" of the model which captured my attention after the familiar wing planform caught my eye.
It is one of those models where the brain goes, "If this wasn't reality then it proves that reality is erroneous."

An excellent assortment of models at the show! Nice craftsmanship in many cases, too. Maybe I'll make it to Wonderfest 2024...
