What glue for mounting SMDs to styrene

Post by brt »

I am trying to mount 0805 SMDs in a 1/1000 refit for navigation and strobe lights. What can I use on the lens (lighted surface) of the SMD without damaging or obscuring it? Btw, I tried canopy glue and it wouldn't hold.

Thanks

instant glue or 5 min epoxy. Both worked for me.

Ditto 5 minute epoxy. I also suggest Gem-Tac.
