Fiber Optics, the PL TOS Enterprise and a novice....
Are there any "kits", advice, suggestions, etc.... on using fiber optics to light up the PL little TOS kit?? Any info would be greatly appreciated..

Here's the basic lighting in the bridge and sensor dome. Granted this is a Loknar class conversion:

We used one led and two big fat fiber optic plastic fibers. Heat blooming these helps open the end up. We also used heat to help bend them, the LEd faces the front of the ship so we needed to make two right angle bends one to get the light up to the bridge, and the other down to get light to the sensor dome.
Nav lights will need thin chip LEDs or some reall tight fiber work.

The SMT LEDs I had were still to thick you can see the gap caused by them in these pics. Also you can see that it is possible to manually build the rotating LED ring, its a pain though!
