A recent find at a dollar store is this LED TAPER CANDLE:

It is the same width as a 1/1000 Enterprise nacelle but longer. Got one for a buck and change.

I've probably already posted this before, but, plastic soda lids.

The dimples are easily cut out for sensor blisters, etc., and not all are simple smooth hemispheres - some have ridges, etc.
