Question about Strip a Kit

Post by hfrankinsf »

A question for the HiveMind,

I will be stripping a styrene/resin kit bash and I found a bottle of Strip a Kit in storage that I purchased at least 10-15 year ago. My question is it still usable after all these years. I opened the bottle and it looks fine.

I look forward to your response.

I believe that it should be ok. I can't recall the chemistry off the top of my head, but either of the two main types of chemistry used for stripping paint would be stable for years. In the past year I used some of a bottle of Strip A Kit that i had on my shelf for over 10 years and it worked fine.

Have fun modeling!
