Adding extra bits, weapons, etc to Basestar kit.

I have the old classic Basestar kit and I want to mod it into a generic space station of sorts. Do they sell bits and pieces like resin/plastic add-ons like phaser cannons IE; Kelvin. Or sci-fi add-ons to make it look unique?
