title says it all- what do you use to (successfully) break down CA/ Crazy/ Superglue's bond please?

Depends. To disassemble a model... razor saw, and/or force. Unstick from the bench, or skin, nail polish remover. The polish remover WILL melt plastic. So...

Thanks John, I should have specified trying to separate piece of styrene from a resin kit, attached with CA.

CA usually has no shear strength, so lever something into the joint and give it a pop. Or just drop it on the floor.

Try pushing an exacto blade into the joint and slowly saw back and forth. Even though the shear strength of CA is poor, I've had some joints that refused to come apart and left part of the resin piece behind. This would happen if the styrene and resin were sanded and the conditions for bonding were ideal.

Freezing it helps. Makes the CA even more brittle. Also makes other glue joints brittle so tap lightly.

Most brands of CA glue also have a compatible debonder. Do a Google search for "superglue debonder" (without the quotation marks) and you'll find several.
