Fewer posts?

Post by E-Dub »

Am I the only one noticing a decline in the number of posts around here? Is this just folks getting ready for WF or is it, dun dun dun, something else?

I stopped by last week to see what was going on, but I was up to my eyebrows in trying to get projects done for WonderFest. Now that the show has come and gone, I'll be back to more regular posting.
Captain Pike: Don't make me laugh.
Commander Burnham: Fortunately for you, I was raised on Vulcan. We don't do funny.
Captain Pike: Ha! (ouch)
Commander Burnham: Maybe I should just shut up.

I am mostly having difficulty with the new site setup- the colors are hard for me to see well and the navigation not as easy for me as with the original site.
(I have been told there will be an option to allow people adjust the color theme eventually)

Working on that --- in the meantime, I have scrolled this site in my browser to 140% so I can read the text comfortably.

Now that Wonderfest is behind me I can get back to it.

Just in case anybody doesn't already know the term "presbyopia" (I'm sure Kenny does know -- only pointing it out to other folks who aren't familiar with the term)

presbyopia - farsightedness caused by loss of elasticity of the lens of the eye, occurring typically in middle and old age.

Glad I'm not the only one, I do not like this new setup.
Stand back, I don't know how big this thing gets.

Yeah, I'm finding the color scheme and font size to be harder to read and more tiring as I do so.

As an example going the other way, the folks over at Britmodeller just revised their site and went away from the blue on blue scheme that was pretty close to what is in use here.

It's now far easier on the eyes and much clearer.
