For weapons, I keep thinking about mast-mounted lasers and smarter mortar shells. A DP heavy auto-cannon for most other things, and a machine gun or three. BFGs are all well and good, but cruise missles will be getting smaller, smarter, and cheaper as well-I suspect the high end tank killer of 2030...

I've got an idea I'm fleshing out, the problem is scale. I would normally go 1/72, so I could always use it for gaming purposes, but the LHS has some 1/35 scale tanks that have all the right greebles and the Tamiya 1/35 scale German Grenadiers next to them make me want to do a diorama. What to do, w...

The model won't be lighted all the time. And the "small" is small. So for batteries, watch batteries will have to do.

No, it's not the Phoenix, but more in line with the warp 2 project ship, but carried a few decades later.

SCC-7107 USS Atlantis For your answer to question 2, does the following diagram match your answer? http://i222.photobucket.com/albums/dd309/DOMENECH1776/Batteries.jpg As for the AAA batteries, they won't fit in the model. Yeah, it's gonna be small. One of these will go to a friend, who will want to ...

Question, how to wire this LED plan?

I'm building a small model, that I really want to light, but I've never done lighting before. So I'm not really sure where to start. I have experience soldering, but no experience with resistors or LEDs. The diagram has a rough schematic of the model(not to scale and proportions of schematic are off...

motorized propellers

Someone from the Sky Galleon of Mars discussion yahoo group is starting a Victorian Science Fiction airship and is trying to get info on motorizing the counter screw propellers. With possibly making the engine mounts move 180 degrees as well. Has anyone done somthing similar or know of any links to ...
