This is a long shot but try some car parts places. The ones that sell customizing colour stripes.

I have a vague memory of seeing bullet hole stickers to apply to your car window.

Anyway worth a shot if you pardon the pun.

Paint. Or paint and pastels. Paint a circle of a darker shade of whatever metallic you use to paint the skull. That represents shadowing of an indentation of the bullet impact. In the middle paint a black circle for your bullet hole. Get some pastels (grey, black, dark brown etc) or failing that som...

Damn were good.

No one outside of the modelling hobby would believe the level of attention to detail required - even to the language involved :D

Do you mean greeblies?

I've seen a number of definitions:
Small crumbs leftover in your sandwich wrapper.
Crumbs remaining from carrying food in your pockets.
All basically mean assorted little bits and pieces.

For a cheap resin alternative to the more common polyurethane resins you could try the two part automotive resins that are used with fibreglass reinforcement (the brand over here I have used is by Davis). On the plus side, it is cheap and reasonably low viscosity so it pours well into an open faced ...

I always relish the time when the VCR breathes it's last. Try a local (indepent) TV and electrical retailer. They often have old TVs VCRs and DVDs thay have collected from customers ho have bought new sets and if they can't repair/refusrbish will just trash them. I've manager to get lots of bits an...

Not tried this on the Viper but when I've had similar issues, I've given the model a white undercoat and then used a thinned down dark mix (usually an acryllic) in the recesses and wiped up any overspill onto the white with alcohol. Repeat until the denity of the recessed area is correct. Then fill ...

Depends?

Where in the world are you?

If you are in the UK I would tend to suggest Alex Tirantis - although there are a number of others.

Couldn't begin to suggest any in the US though.

Sort of figured I was mixing apples and oranges there. I've done the spin casting for white metal models on a home made rig using a power saw to spin a turntable with the mold strapped on top. Although it cast some really nice figures - much better than the pour and pray method - I wouldn't recommen...

Adding my own enquiry to the mix here. If you go for the MacGyver appraoch and make you own roto-casting set up - and I just love Schadenfreudian's technique of swinging the mold in a bag about your head :D , if you are going for what is essentialy a single axis rotation, how can you acheive even co...

Not sure about that but I've just ordered some Gundam panel line pens and plan to use them after having given the model a full coat of future.

Would pencil lead make an impression on a gloss surface?

Thanks for all the tips guys.

The modelstrip paste does wonders for decades old paint but wouldn't touch the chrome (not PL by the way - its the MPC Pilgrim Observer...)

I'll try the local stores for the windex equivalent and see what happens....

Removing Chrome Plating

Can anyone suggest a reliable way to strip chrome plating from plastic parts?
