I was thinking that simply from the mobility aspect, a flying tank might be militarily very useful, even if it did have to sit down to fire. I don't believe that we're ever going to see a situation like that at Kursk again, or even the tank battles of North Africa. I think they're going to be more ...

Purging/Deletion Topics that do not have a reply in a set amount of time (14 days in the most active forums, 30 days in others) will be deleted. This helps keep the size of the database that powers this site manageable. (The only exceptions are the Construction, Finishing and Lighting forums - topi...

They don't stock pink/blue foam sheets here in SoCal, and you might find the same up your way Bill. I've even asked my supplier about it and get a blank stare. They don't insulate in California? Go to the local Home Despot or Lowes. Look for this: http://www.homedepot.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/...

Accusations - Recasting, Fraud, Ripping-Off, etc.

Recasting – the practice of taking someone else’s kit, molding it and casting it and then selling it as your own – is the scourge of this hobby. It’s driven many garage kitters out of production over the years. We do not support recasting . Nor do we support the practice of taking money for products...

Zog made something along those same lines as an example for me several years ago ---- he's the Grand High Guru Poobah of crazy circuits -- and if you ask nice, and sacrifice the requiste number of styrene kits to the appropriate modeling deities, he may even draw you a diagram.

Accusations - Recasting, Fraud, Ripping-Off, etc. Just because someone makes a claim doesn't mean it's true. To answer the original question: The most common reason for the Aves not setting up rock hard is the proportions of A:B are off. In my experience, they gotta be waaaay off, especially if you are using a big bunch. I have also had issues if I only use very small amounts --- like trying to mix up some...

eBay auctions

Posting links to eBay auctions is just causing too much heartache. So - no more, even if it's your own auction and you want to list it in the trading post.

All threads containing links to an eBay auction will be shut down.

Yes.

You "still have mold lines" - what do you mean by that? Do you mean you still see the join lines between parts you've glued, or you still see the lines between where the molds were pressed together and the molten plastic injected into the molds squeezed out a bit? If it's the latter - dude...

Alternatively, you could spray ALCLAD gold over a gloss black base. *That* would give you consistency... You get a chrome shine to it if you first spray gloss black, then several clear gloss coats. ALCLAD does well over Tamiya acrylics, as well as Testors' enamels (but let the undercoats thouroughly...

I don't want to make any profit off this, just cover production costs.
