yea it's for pin striping detail and I thought I put this thread in the finishing forum, sorry for the confusion. alot of help already though I figured that there was something out there that would meet my needs.

Making straight fine lines

There could be and probably is a better way to make straight fine lines but any idea I had was to use something similar to a pie cutter with some sort of absorbing material cut into the shape of a wheel to replace the metal wheel already on a pie cutter. Any other ideas out there? any tips would hel...

Looking on the Star Trek Thread I saw a guy Rel working on a Sovereign Class Enterprise, looks friggin amazing!! The picture I saw was the one were he's got the windows perfectly shaped and indented; I'm curious about some techniques on how to do that, were they drilled out? was it just done with a ...

Scratch building small details

I'm working on a scratch built shuttlebay from 1701-A for the Polar Lights Refit Enterprise. For the record it's comming along better than I thought it could turn out. One problem I'm having though is keeping some of the angles square (90 degrees) I found that the mesurments are getting down to half...
