No, but I'm all ears..

I have a brother laser printer, but I haven't been able to print onto anything thicker then .003 brass sheets. What is the best laser printer to print on thicker brass?

I'm trying build a version of the Klingon bird of prey from scratch. What would be a good medium to work with? Foam, clay....extra. I've used balsa before. Your input is appreciated
