I have just used 6 tones of Alclad metals including the Chrome for plastic and had no rubbing off. As some of the guys have mentioned the base and gloss coats are important. Glossed up and a bit of pre-shading in gloss white and blended in to hopefully give a look of a the hull been lit by running lights.

I think I probably should sand it back and start again. Then put a coat of clear over the Magnesium hull colour before masking and applying the darker coat.

Funny thing is I have an air tank and the pressure drops on the gauge for the duration the trigger is pressed.

Hi guys,

I have noticed that when I set say 20psi on the compressor and then engage the airbrush the pressure drops of by a few psi. My question is when setting 20 psi as my required should I attenuate the regulator with the airbrush engaged to give me 20 psi?

Hi guys, I have just bought a 1400 scale Resin Miranda class starship. The Nacelle pylons are a bit warped but the saucer looks like its gone 12 rounds with a singularity! It has a good warp in its shape. Any suggestions on how if possible to straighten her out. Warm water and brace in a jig? Thanks...
