The standard A-1 Free Trader is the backbone of any Traveller game. They are small freighters designed to be inexpensive to operate, but with a reasonable speed and cargo capability. They’re everywhere and anywhere; they may have a load of grain, or be carrying a (cramped) platoon of mercenaries. Many Traveller gamers started off in this vessel, and wound up modifying them ridiculously!

I carved this ship from insulation foam, following the Digest Group Productions deck plans. I used clapboard Plastruct sheet for the fuel intakes, and robbed the upper turret guns from a toy AT-ST.
